The Miss Black Oklahoma USA Pageant celebrates talent, achievement, and commitment to service. This organization is about empowering young women of color to develop the leadership skills, confidence, and network to achieve their biggest goals in life. As a preliminary competition to the Miss Black USA Scholarship Pageant, it is our mission to provide a platform that enables women to make a positive impact in our home state of Oklahoma and across the country. We represent brilliance, beauty, and Black excellence.

The organization defines how African American women defeat the stereotypical standards of beauty, size, and ideals from that which were once taught in a negative way. Miss Black USA celebrates women in all shades of brown, hair texture, and vastness."

 

"The Miss Black USA Organization is the first and largest scholarship pageant for women of color, awarding over $500,000 in scholarships. The pageant empowers women to own their power and celebrates their unique talents, traits, and beauty.  Miss Black USA defines her own standard of beauty and celebrates the whole woman, mind, body and spirit, all shades of brown, hair texture and size."
